Lady Wildcats Cling to Playoff Hopes

The Lady Cats have hit a bit of a rough patch.  After falling short in PKs to Gainesville, and losing on the road the Heritage, the ladies suffered another heartbreaking loss to Loganville on Monday night.  The game stayed tied at one goal apiece, up until the last minute of regulation.  With one minute left, the Lady Red Devils snuck in a goal to secure a 2-1 victory.  This leaves the Lady Wildcats with a 2-3 region record with 3 region matches remaining.  The Cats travel to Cedar Shoals on Tuesday, Winder on Friday, and close out the season with Flowery Branch on April 22nd.  If they manage to win each of these three last games, then a playoff birth is a strong possibility.  Please come out and support the ladies as they make this late season push!

Lady Cats Lose Two Close Ones

After a perfect start to region play, the Lady Cats have hit a bit of a bump in the road.  On consecutive Friday evenings, the ladies have lost to Gainesville and Heritage, both undefeated in region play.  The Lady Wildcats tied the Red Elephants in regulation, but came up short in penalty kicks for their first region loss of the year.  Then this past Friday, they came up on the short end of an 0-2 defeat to Heritage High School.  both games were hard fought, but didn't net the results the Cats had hoped for.  The Ladies look to regroup with a non-region match against North Oconee on Monday.  Region play resumes on Friday, when the Lady Cats take on Loganville at home.
